About Cry Freedom
What we do
At Cry Freedom, we use photography to highlight stories of resilience and the quest for a liberty with the aim of raising money for those causes.
Our aim is to try to improve the quality, opportunity and enjoyment of day-to-day life, no matter where or what.
Our focus is not only on the big, internationally recognized struggles for a freedom, but also on local, simpler ones.
Who we are
We are an initiative of the world Illustrated Foundation, a registered non-profit incorporated in the state of Florida, USA. The Foundation is affiliated with World Illustrated Inc who are building a web-publishing and social media platform which the Foundation will use to gain a wider reach for its causes and where users will be able to build communities in support of those causes and raise funds for them.
Importantly, as a Foundation, we have no political agenda or affiliation of our own. Some of our contributors may have one, and indeed we may publish stories on both sides of an argument, so long as we feel that the creator is really trying to improve the human condition and achieve a freedom. Ultimately, the choice is yours.
